Finance Minister Ishaq Dar meets Representatives of Oil Companies and Refineries
The Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with representatives of Pakistan State Oil, Pak Refinery, PARCO, PRL at the Finance Ministry this afternoon and reviewed their functioning with specific reference to the source of imports of oil products as well as the present consumption.
The Finance Minister said that it is important that we have a comprehensive data about the products and source of their imports for proper planning so that informed decision can be made about them.
The Finance Minister urged the representative of oil marketing companies and refineries to advise the government on the present pattern of oil imports and its marketing and suggest measures to further improve them.
The Finance Minister expressed satisfaction over the present availability of petroleum products in the country.
The meeting was attended by, Mr. Imran Mirza, CFO PRL, Syed Zawar Haider, GM (M&C) PARCO, Mr. Moazzam Mubarak, Manager Finance PARCO, Mr. Mumtaz Hassan Khan, Chairman HPL, Mr. S. Qasim Ali Rizvi, Sr. Manger Commercial NRL, Mr. Amjad Parvez Janjua, MD PSO, Mr. Sohail Butt, DMD, PSO, Mr. Aftab Husasin, MD/CEO PRL, Mr. Akhtar Zamir, DGM Supply, PSO, Mr. Zeeshan Haider, DGM PSO, Advisor Petroleum Mr. Zahid Muzaffar, and Secretary Petroleum Mr. Abid Saeed. Rana Asad Amin Advisor to the Ministry and senior officials were present on the occasion.
